Volunteer in Bridge of Allan
Bridge of Allan Community
We’re really proud to have such a large group of dedicated people in our community who work hard to make Bridge of Allan a wonderful place to be, keeping our streets safe, clean and vibrant and looking out for one another. You may not see them when you’re out and about, but our town wouldn’t be what it is without them - and for that we are grateful! Most of these groups are always looking for help, so if you’re interested in supporting at all, you are encouraged to contact them directly.

Bridge of Allan has an active community council whose volunteer members work hard to represent the views of our community to Stirling Council and other relevant bodies.
We promote the well-being and resilience of the community, applying pressure to bring about improvements where needed.
We work hard to foster community spirit and ensure the town is a safe, well-serviced, attractive place to live

Bridge of Allan Play Together was established to create a more accessible playpark on Fountain Road.
Founder Jennifer Rutherford has worked tirelessly to have play equipment and picnic tables suitable for wheelchair users installed, improving overall accessibility of the park and successfully campaigning for more dropped kerbs in the town.
Her ambitions beyond this include installation of a local Changing Places toilet.

Stirling & Bridge of Allan Round Table are a group of guys who combine Fun & Fundraising. We meet twice a month on Tuesdays and organise events in the community to bring everyone together and raise money for local causes.
Our main annual event is the Bridge of Allan Fireworks which we’ve been organising for over 40 years. We also bring Santa to the streets at Christmas! We’re on the lookout for men aged 18-45 who are keen to have fun while giving back to the local community.
